Extremely Hot Chips, affectionally known as Chip around the barn, was discovered by Wade Black as a two year old. Wade fell in love with this young stallion the very first time he rode him. He was strong, with a great trot and lope as well as an outstanding temperment.

Wade introduced Chip to Cheryl Mullikin and she purchased the young stallion to further his show career in 2008.

Chip's show career got off to an amazing start, winning mulitple world champion placings and multiple top placings at major futurities across the nation during his two year old year. He also finished in top 10 at the AQHA World Championship Show as a two year old.
